Tree stump on the Lawn

Horse Chestnut Tree Carving - we want to hear your suggestions.

The horse chestnut tree on the Lawn was recently felled by Teignbridge District Council’s tree surgeons. It had been monitored over a number of years and the tree was in very poor condition and almost dead. A new tree will be planted near the site by the District Council.

A 1.5m stump has been left as Dawlish Town Council would like to have a carving made from the stump.
Some funding has allocated for the carving. We would like to have your views on what you would like to see carved on the stump! The answers will help to inform the design brief for the carving. Please use the link to the form below for your suggestions.
