Manor House Car Park Press Release

A Parish Poll was held in 2010 where a majority of parishioners wanted the Town Council to keep the Manor House as a building for community use. One of the main advantages to hirers is the offer of free parking for users of the building. There are several notices at the entrance and in the car park advising it is a private car park only for authorised users of the building.
Little Week Play Park

Dawlish Town Council is delighted to announce the start of refurbishment works on Little Week Play Park in the week commencing Monday 16th September. The cost of the project is approximately £40K and the scheme has been brought forward by the Council’s Civic Amenities Committee. It is anticipated the play park will be re-open again after three weeks.

Dawlish Dementia Adventure Open Day

On Saturday 12th October from 10am to 2pm at the Manor House in Dawlish, the Dawlish Dementia ‘Adventure’ takes place. This event is open to all – local businesses, residents, and young people are welcome to attend. This is a chance to challenge your perceptions of dementia, to learn about how the arts and music can provide hugely positive experiences and therapy for people with dementia, and to participate in our workshops. Dawlish Town Council calls to abolish visa fees

The Dawlish Rural Skip Service will be available from 9.30am until 3.30pm on Saturday 16th November 2019 at Barton Hill Car Park. This service is for bulky household waste only. NO TRADE WASTE. Please do not deposit any waste at the site before the skip has arrived. A list of materials that cannot be accepted is detailed on the document attached.

Party will include music, magician and ballooner modeller, party tea and a visit from Father Chirstmas and a speical friend! Tickets available from the Manor House Reception 9.30am to 1.30pm Monday to Friday. Limted numbers so please buy your ticket early!

It is with regret that we have taken the decision to cancel the Saturday Christmas Market. Having reviewed numerous weather forecasts, there is likely to be sustained winds of 24mph and gusts of up to 35-40mph. Christmas Cygnet Sponsorship

Christmas Cygnet Sponsorship For two weeks only we have a special Christmas Cygnet Sponsorship available. For £20 a special Christmas cygnet sponsorship certificate and gift card (optional) is available. The sponsor's name can also be displayed at the waterfowl compound. Christmas sponsorships will be dispatched by Friday 20th December 2019 (last posting date). By sponsoring one of the cygnets born in 2019 on Dawlish Water the investment makes a very real contribution to the care and well being of all the waterfowl.
